Focus On Effective Electoral AssistanceThis ACE “Focus On …” addresses the issue of effective electoral assistance. It builds upon International IDEA’s publication of the conclusions of the "Effective Electoral Assistance Conference" held in Ottawa, Canada, in May 2006, under the auspices of International IDEA and the Canadian International Development Agency. This event coincided with the global launch of the new version of the ACE Electoral Knowledge Network, which unveiled new potential applications of ACE in electoral assistance programmes to the community of electoral practitioners, assistance providers and development agencies. Authors: Domenico Tuccinardi, Paul Guerin, Fabio Bargiacchi, Linda Maguire
