United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA)

Gay Rosenblum-Kumar, Senior Public Administration Officer in the Governance and Public Administration Branch of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs.

For the past twelve years, Gay has advised on country-level governance, public administration capacity-building, peacebuilding and conflict prevention issues and designed strategic interventions and projects for UN Country Teams and UNDP Regional Bureaus. Prior to that she worked for the United Nations and several international NGOs directing anti-apartheid educational and empowerment projects. She has also contributed to edited volumes on conflict prevention and peacebuilding and coordinated the development of curricula for conflict transformation capacity-building for civil society and government in sub-Saharan Africa.
