Linda Maguire, Electoral Advisor, Democratic Governance Group, Bureau for Development Policy, UNDP, NY

Linda Maguire works with the Democratic Governance Group as Electoral Adviser. Linda joined UNDP in 1998 and has worked for BDP on legislative, electoral and democracy and conflict issues, as well as with the Evaluation Office on results-based performance assessment. Before joining UNDP, Linda was a Senior Programme Officer for West Africa with the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), where she managed the electoral assistance programmes in Côte d'Ivoire and Mali, as well as provided support to legislatures and civil society initiatives in the region. She holds a Master of Arts from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
