Miriam Lapp, Assistant Director of International Research and Cooperation.

Miriam Lapp joined Elections Canada in April 2002, and is currently Assistant Director of International Research and Cooperation. Previously, she held the positions of Senior Analyst and Assistant Director in the National and International Research and Policy Development directorate.

 

Prior to joining Elections Canada, she was an assistant professor of political science at the University of Western Ontario, where she taught courses in introductory and Canadian politics, political parties and interest groups, and elections and voting.

 

Ms. Lapp holds a Ph.D. in political science from the Université de Montréal, with a specialization in electoral participation.
