Denis Kadima, Executive Director
Mr. Kadima is a political scientist educated at the Université de Lubumbashi in the DR Congo and the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has conceptualised and implemented numerous election and democracy programmes on behalf of EISA, the Electoral Commissions Forum of SADC countries (ECF), the SADC Parliamentary Forum and the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in over 30 countries in the SADC region and beyond. Mr Kadima led the effort toward the development and adoption of the Principles for Election Management, Monitoring and Observation (PEMMO) in the SADC Region, as well as their implementation, and has published extensively on electoral processes, democracy and governance. He is the founder of the Journal of African Elections and sits on the board of several regional organisations in the SADC region.
