 EISA is a non-partisan Section 21 organisation based in Johannesburg, South Africa with field offices in Burundi, Chad, Cote d’Ivoire Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Madagascar and Mozambique. EISA will shortly be opening offices in Burundi and Kenya.  EISA works in the field of elections, democracy and governance in the African continent. EISA’s vision is an African continent where democratic governance, human rights and citizen participation are upheld in a peaceful environment. Since EISA’s establishment in 1996, the organisation has worked closely with election management bodies, civil society organisations and political parties in the area of elections and democratic governance. In addition to being a regional center, EISA is also a full ACE partner.
