I am a permanent civil servant in India and have worked as electoral manager for nearly 15 years - this includes the field, the state and the national level. In addition, I have served in various governance related position in the government which also involved interacting and advising elected represetatives in decision making. This experience makes it possible for me to attempt multi-faceted problems in electoral management. I feel confident to deal with any election related problem on the ground including those having governance related implications. My exposure to a number of countries in Asia, Africa, Central America and Australia makes me feel confident to deal with election related issues in other geographical settings as well.
