Currently running the IFES programme in Sierra Leone, supporting the National Electoral Commission and the Political Parties Registration Commission in their preparations for the 2007 Presidential and Parliamentary and 2008 Local Government Elections (see further www.ifes.org). Has a PhD in Political Science from Uppsala University, Sweden, on the subject of the candidate selection process within political parties in sub-Saharan Africa.
