I have served as Senior Programme Officer for International IDEA’s Electoral Processes Programme from September 2003 to January 2007. The ACE Project was one of my main areas of work and, as part of this work, I have led the conceptualisation and development process of the ACE Practitioners' Network, the networking dimension of ACE - which is now up and running. My 16-year professional experience focuses on electoral management, assistance and support programmes to national electoral institutions in a number of countries. Since April 2007, I have taken the post of Senior Electoral Advisor for the United Nations Development Programme in Nepal - and this is where I am now.
