Almaz Atnafu
Currently Ms. Almaz works at the Governance and Public Administration Branch of the United Nations as Public Administration Officer. She just returned from DRC where she served as the Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Neutral Facilitator of the Inter-Congolese Dialogue in DRC and Chief Election Administration Officer of the Electoral Division of MONUC. She has several years of experience in providing technical support and advice on election, including designing technical assistance projects, preparing election budgets and providing substantive and administrative support to electoral authorities. She holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Addis Ababa University and a Masters degree in Management Science from New York University.
