The EU EOM led by Ms. Luisa Morgantini, Vice-President of the European Parliament, deployed 108 observers from 21 EU Member States, as well as Norway and Switzerland.The Angolan people turned out to vote in large numbers, demonstrating their clear commitment to the country’s democratic process and desire to leave behind a past marked by decades of war and civil conflict.
