What is in Regions & Countries feature?
This feature allows you to choose a regional webpage with relevant news and information about the region. From this page you can choose a country with all information on that country from the ACE Network collected there or visit the Regional Electoral Resource Centre.
How is a Region defined?
ACE Network is divided into 6 Regions – Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Oceania.
How do I get to directly to a Country page?
Either type the country in the main search funtion at the top of the home page or click on the Region then a scroll down the alphabetical list of countries in that region.
What is a Regional Electoral Resource Centre (RERC)?
A Regional Electoral Resource Center produces case studies of countries in the region, conducts research, collects comparative data and sample materials, facilitates networking events, regional meetings and training seminars, and develops capacity in the region.
How do I contact a RERC?
Click on Region and click on dot which takes you to RERC page which has all contact details.
Why should I contact a RERC?
If you are an Electoral Management Body, a civil society organisation, a political party or candidate, an electoral consultant, a donor agency, a journalist, an academic or a voter you may be interested in registering as part of this smaller regional network to which you can contribute news or events and use a a relevant information service in the area.
How is a RERC connected to the Practitioners’ Network?
RERCs are part of the Network and will receive direct support from the ACE Network facilitators. Experts who have registered list selected specialist topic areas and regions will also be part of the RERC network. Relevant consolidated replies to questions can be found on country pages.
