HDZ, SDP scramble for support in close election, New Europe (2007)

Ïn November 26, Croatia’s ruling Democratic Union party (HDZ) and the opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) both scrambled for support from smaller parties to break a deadlock after parliamentary polls on Sunday failed to produce a clear-cut winner.
