Description of Electoral System:

The President is elected by the House of Representatives to  serve a 6-year term. In the the House of Federation 108 members are chosen by state assemblies to serve 5-year terms. In the the House of People's Representatives not more than 550 members of which minority Nationalities and Peoples shall have at least 20 seats are elected by direct vote to serve 5-year terms.
