Upcoming Events

  • E-Voting.CC offers a two-day seminar covering the topic “Information Technology in the Electoral Process” in cooperation with the Danube University in Krems. The seminar will take place from May 26-27 in Krems, Austria. To download a seminar brochure in English, click here…

  • The Council of Europe, in co-operation with the High School of Justice of Georgia will host a seminar giving participants the opportunity to discuss electoral complaints and appeal procedures with judges dealing with electoral disputes on May 6 in Tbilisi, Georgia.

  • Representatives from ACE regional centres will gather together from June 30 to July 5 in Dakar, Senegal to further support the ACE Electoral Knowledge Network’s mission to strengthen professionalism within the world's election management bodies. For more information, contact ace.facilitators@idea.int

  • The Institute for Education in Democracy (IED), a contributing ACE Regional Resource Centre will introduce their organizational involvement in ACE and related activities to regional stakeholders in Eastern Africa on April 30 in Nairobi, Kenya. Past Events

  • ACEEEO member states and many other nations celebrated Global Election Day on 7 February 2008 to confirm a belief in the importance of democratic values.

  • A training addressing the theme of Effective Electoral Assistance was held jointly by the European Commission and United Nations Development Program in Brussels, Belgium from 22-26 October, 2007.
