The final report on Tajikistan's February 28 Parliamentary Elections assesses, that the elections failed to meet many key OSCE commitments and other international standards for democratic elections. Neither was domestic legislation fully respected. Notable shortcomings occurred regarding respect of legal provisions on complaints and the law was inconsistently applied with regard to campaign regulations. Serious irregularities took place on election day, including a high incidence of observed proxy voting.

En el distrito de Morales como parte de las actividades de la campaña educativa comunicacional se ha ejecutado el pasacalle del voto informado por las calles importantes del distrito, con el apoyo de la Institución Educativa Francisco Izquierdo Ríos, con la finalidad de despertar el interés en los electores del distrito sobre la importancia de su voto como decisión y poder de cambio e incentivando la participación de los ciudadanos en el proceso electoral que se desarrollara en el distrito con lemas alusivos de la campaña como: un voto informado, es un voto responsable; infórmate ejerce tu derecho.
Suscriben Pacto Ético Electoral en el distrito de Caspizapa
El Jurado Nacional de Elecciones, a través de la Dirección Nacional de Educación y Formación Cívica Ciudadana y el Programa Voto Informado, organizó la firma del Pacto Ético Electoral entre las autoridades municipales en consulta y el promotor de la revocatoria en el distrito de Caspizapa en la provincia de Picota, región San Martin La ceremonia de suscripción se llevó a cabo el viernes 31 de Mayo a las 8:00 pm en las instalaciones del Centro Cívico que tuvo un record de asistencia lo cual puso de manifiesto el interés de las y los ciudadanos, por fortalecer la democracia y la gobernabilidad y la difusión de los compromisos asumidos por las autoridades de su localidad, se contó con la presencia de las autoridades del distrito, representantes de las organizaciones de la sociedad civil y efectivos policiales de la comisaría de San Hilarión. En ese marco, la firma del documento servirá para comprometer a la autoridad en consulta y al promotor a llevar una campaña en la que predomine el respeto recíproco, sin agravios ni agresiones personales.
