Question:What are the criteria for allocating free broadcast time and/or free printed advertisement space to political parties?
Answer(s): b. Based on number of candidates put forward in present elections
Comments: Free airtime is allocated to political parties in proportion to the number of candidates put forward. None of these political parties can be allocated less than 5 minutes on television and 10 minutes on radio during the campaign period.
