Réponses Seventy-five percent of the National Assembly members are directly elected from geographical constituencies that proportionately represent the geographical situation of country's population. The boundaries of the state shall be those existing on the day the Constitution comes into force, boundaries between states may be amended by law passed by the National Assembly and signed by the President of the Republic after hearing the views of the respective Governor or State Assembly.

The median standard represents the total population of the Sudanese Republic or province or locality divided by the number of members in the National Assembly or the Provincial or Local Assemblies who were elected directly respectively.
