Criteria for allocating free broadcast time

Question:What are the criteria for allocating free broadcast time and/or free printed advertisement space to political parties?
Answer(s): a. Equal regardless of size of party and previous performance
Comments: During the campaign period, radio stations and television reserve equal airtime for candidates, political parties and party coalitions. If two parties request the same time slot, there will be a random lottery to decide who gets the specific time slot.
