When are ballots recounted?
Question:Under what conditions are ballots recounted?
Answer(s): d. By request
Comments: During the counting of votes, a candidate or his/her counting agent may require the returning officer to have the votes re-counted, but the returning officer may refuse to do so if he/she does not consider the request reasonable.
