Mandatory referendums (national level)
Question:Are there any Legal Provisions for Mandatory Referendums at the national level?
Answer: a. Yes
Comments: No transfer, exchange or acquisition of territory shall be valid unless it is approved by referendum. In addition, any amendment to the Constitution needs to be approved by referendum. Finally, a referendum is required for the transfer of the capital to another part of the country.
