election (e.g. for introducing the candidates/lists of candidates or
reporting/analysing the election platforms and activities of the candidates/lists
of candidates), the fair and equal treatment principle will apply. In
accordance with the fair and equal treatment principle, broadcasters should
ensure that each of the candidates/lists of candidates contesting in the same
constituency will be introduced and reported in the programme and no
favourable or unfavourable treatment will be given to any of the
