Question:Following the close of the voting, where are the votes first sorted and counted?
Answer: a. The polling stations
Comments: Immediately after the ballot papers are casted in the relevant polling booth, the polling booth officer himself or a member of the polling booth team assigned by him shall count the votes in the polling booth in the presence of the members of the polling booth team, the polling booth agents and the public.
