Question:Is it compulsory to be on the voters register?
Answer: b. No
Comments: It is the duty of every citizen of Uganda of 18 years of age or above to register as a voter for public elections and referenda. The State shall take all necessary steps to ensure that all citizens qualified to vote register and exercise their right to vote. Any person who is a citizen of Uganda and is 18 years of age or above shall apply to be registered as a voter in a parish or ward where the person originates from or resides.
