When are ballots recounted?

Question:Under what conditions are ballots recounted?
Answer(s): e. Court order
Comments: Where any candidate has reason to believe that the declaration by the Commissioner of the number of votes received by a candidate is incorrect, and that on a recount the first-mentioned candidate might be found to be elected, he or she may, within 3 days after the public notice of the result of the election, apply to a District Court Judge for a recount of the votes.
