Law on Parliamentary Elections, article 64: Election campaigns organizers, whose candidates have been elected Members of Parliament have the right to remuneration, the amount of which is 15 denars per vote won. The reimbursement of election expenses will be paid from the Budget of the Republic of Macedonia within 3 months of the day of submitting the financial statement on the election campaigns. If two or more political parties are the submitters of the list of the elected Member of Parliament, the funds between or among them shall be divided into equal shares, unless the parties have agreed otherwise. The reimbursement of the election expenses is determined by a decision of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia.
Law on Political Parties article 29: The funds provided in the Budget of the Republic of Macedonia for the activity of political parties amounting to 30%, shall be allocated equally among the political parties which won at least 3% of the votes at the last elections, while the remaining 70% shall be allocated to the political parties whose candidates were elected as representatives in the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, according to the number of their representatives. Should the representative be elected as candidate of two or more political parties, the funds shall be divided equally among them, unless they otherwise agree.

Article 23 Election Campaign
(1) For the purposes of this Act, the period of the election campaign shall mean the period commencing 30 days, and ending 48 hours, before the start of elections. During the period of election campaigning every running party is ensured equal access to the mass media and other services of territorial self-government (územnej samosprávy). Running political parties can conduct election campaigns through radio or television broadcasting only on Slovak Radio and Slovak Television. Election campaigning is prohibited in the radio broadcasting and television broadcasting of private licence holders. It is not allowed to use local public loudspeakers for election campaigning, except for announcements concerning the holding of election meetings.

A party is eligible for party subsidies if it has received at least one seat in Parliament or 2,6% of the votes throughout the whole country at either of the two last elections. To qualify for "secretariat subsidies" a party is required either to have won a seat in Parliament in the last election or to have received at least 4% of the votes in the whole country.
