Comments:
Although there is no clear constitutional mandate, the Independent Electoral Commission conducts voter and civic education activities.
Information dissemination is carried out through the following processes:
a. Kgotla meetings; b. Institutions and School visits; c. Stakeholder workshops; d. Radio and television programmes; e. Print publications ( Pamphlets, newsletters, posters,brochures).

Although there is no clear constitutional mandate, the Independent Electoral Commission conducts voter and civic education activities. Awareness activities are also implemented by certain civil society organisations such as Emang Basadi, the Botswana National Youth Council (BNYC).
