Question:Are constituencies delimited for election purposes?
Answer: a. Yes
Comments: For the purpose of the election of Members of the National Assembly, The Gambia shall be divided into single-member constituencies. (1) An Act of the National assembly shall establish a Boundaries Commission which shall be responsible for demarcating constituency boundaries for the purpose of elections to the National Assembly.

Comments: The Independent Electoral Commission draws the boundaries, pending an Act of the National assembly that shall establish a constituencies Boundary Commission which shall be responsible for demarcating constituency boundaries for the purpose of elections to the National Assembly.
