Delimitation of constituencies


Question:Are constituencies delimited for election purposes?
Answer: a. Yes
Comments: The Parliament is composed of 450 deputies, half of which are elected from a single countrywide constituency. For the election of the other 225 deputies, the territory of Ukraine shall be divided into 225 single-member constituencies which shall be established by the Central Election Commission. The constituency boundaries are determined in accordance with the existing administrative boundaries, the number of registered voters in each constituency and the interests of local communities and ethnic minorities living in the respective territory.
