Authority responsible for voter registration

Question:Which is the authority responsible for the registration of voters for national elections?
Answer: d. Election Management Body (specify)
Comments: Uzbekistan uses a passive system for registering voters based on permanent or temporary residence. Eligible citizens are automatically added to the voter register based on continuously updated data from the country’s civil registry. The central Single Electronic Voter Register (SEVR) unifies data from the different databases of several government agencies. The CEC oversees the SEVR that was created ahead of the 2019 parliamentary elections. The SEVR is operated and maintained by the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications.
