- That he has been a Jordanian national for at least ten years.
- That he does not claim foreign nationality or protection.

- That he has not been declared bankrupt and has not been rehabilitated.

- That he does not have any material interest in any of the Government departments by
virtue of a contract other than contracts of land and property tenancy. This does not

- That he is not retarded or insane.
- That he is not a relative to the King to a degree specified by a special legislation.
- That he does not belong to any non-Jordanian political body, party or organization.
