The amended law gives a legal framework for a uniform procedural treatment of political parties with regard to their financing and increases the transparency of party funding. Question:Which types of issues can be proposed by citizens using the citizens' initiative process at the national level?
Answer(s): a. Constitutional amendments
b. Legislative proposals
Comments: In Liechtenstein, all citizens initiatives must be considered by the parliament (legislative). -If the initiative is passed by the parliament and implemented, i.e. put into law, there is no vote of the electorate, unless the parliament additionally decides that a public vote is to be held. (If it does not, there is the possibility for the electorate to call for a public vote (through the normal way of collecting signatures)). -If the law is not passed, a vote of the electorate must be held.
