комментарии
Nauru employs a preferential voting system in which voters use numbers to mark their preferences on the ballot paper. Each preference marked is then assigned a voting value inversely proportional to the rank (e.g. the first choice is assigned 1 unit, the second choice 0.5 unit, the third choice 0.33 unit and so on). The total number of voting units each candidate receives is then totaled, and the candidates with the highest totals, equal to the number of seats to be filled in each constituency, are elected.
