Question:How is the Head of State selected?
Answer(s): c. Directly elected in general elections (absolute majority with 2nd round if necessary)
комментарии The President of Ukraine is the Head of State. S/he shall be elected by the citizens of Ukraine for a five-year term, on the basis of universal, equal and direct suffrage, by secret ballot, for more than two consecutive terms. The candidate who obtains the absolute majority of votes shall be elected President. There shall be a second round of elections among the two candidates with the highest number of votes, in case no candidate obtains the absolute majority at the first round.
