Question:How is the Head of State selected?
Answer(s): a. Head of State is the Head of Government
b. Directly elected in general elections (simple majority)
Comments: The President of the Republic shall be elected directly by the people, by a simple majority of votes. The election shall be announced by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal and, in default thereof, by the National Congress or by the Supreme Court of Justice.
