DESCRIPTION:With the aim of contributing to the electoral reform proce
 ss in Egypt\, IFES and UNDP-Egypt in cooperation with the NCHR organiz
 ed BRIDGE (Building Resources in Democracy\, Governance\, and Election
 ) training in 2008.  The workshop brought together selected participan
 ts representing various election stakeholders in Egypt to enhance thei
 r understanding of the principles that underpin the electoral process 
 and share with them comparative experience from the region and other p
 arts of the world as a framework in which to assess their own local ex
 perience and draw on best practices and lessons learned. IFES and UNDP
  convened the training workshop from June 29 until July 03\, 2008 at t
 he Four Seasons Hotel in Giza.
