DESCRIPTION:Two workshops were held as part of this event\: Orientatio
 n Workshop for Commissioners and Training of Trainers Workshop for the
  Malawi Electoral Commission. The Orientation was a part of the ACE Ca
 pacity Building Facility and the Enhancing Capacity of Election Practi
 tioners (ECEP) programmes\, which are both implemented by EISA. The Tr
 aining targeted mainly the MEC staff who are responsible for designing
 \, planning and conducting training for their colleagues in carrying o
 ut different activities associated with the management of the 2009 ele
 ctions. Both workshops were aimed at commissioners and members of the 
 Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC).
