DESCRIPTION:An international workshop on Electoral Justice will be org
 anised by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assi
 stance (IDEA)\, the Non-Aligned Movement for South-South Technical Coo
 peration (NAM-CSSTC) and the United Nations Development Programme – 
 Regional Centre Bangkok (UNDP-RCB) in collaboration with the Asian Net
 work for Free and Fair Elections (ANFREL) and the Centre for Electoral
  Reform (CETRO).\n\nThe workshop is intended to introduce the concept 
 of Electoral Justice\, which is an expanded view of electoral dispute 
 resolution by including the consideration of preventive and alternativ
 e measure to electoral dispute resolution. Understanding this new conc
 ept is hoped to improve the handling of electoral disputes and outcome
 s of elections. \n\nThe workshop will target a wide variety of stakeho
 lders\, such as election administrators\, election observers\, politic
 al party executives\, civil-society organisations\, academics and rele
 vant government officials\, from a number of South and South-East Asia
 n countries.
