How does "Ask a Question" work?

Through Ask a Question, users may pose pertinent questions to the members of the Practitioners' Network and - within eight (8) working days - obtain substantive knowledge on the form of a consolidated reply.

Below, follows an explanation of how Ask a Question works (see also diagram):

  • STEP 1: when a question is received, before being forwarded to the members of the Practitioners' Network, it is evaluated by the ACE Network Facilitators;
  • STEP 2: if the question is considered as irrelevant - it is rejected. If instead it is considered as relevant - it is then forwarded to the experts of corresponding Thematic Group/s to which that question pertains (for example: a question covering voter turnout issues is directed to those network members having indicated electoral participation as one of the Thematic Groups of specialisation and interest);
  • STEP 3: the commentaries individually contributed by the network's members are incorporated by the ACE Network Facilitators into a consolidated reply;
  • STEP 4: the consolidated reply is retained in the Archive of Questions & Answers and made available to the user who has submitted the question and retained for future use by others facing same or similar challenges.
