Respuestas A party must apply to the CEC Chairperson with a signed application. If the party has an MP, it must apply no later than 57 days before Election Day. If not, the application period is from January 1 to July 15 of the election year. The application must include a recent excerpt from the political associations register, showing the authorized party representative and, if applicable, proof of having a representative in Parliament.
A party that doesn't meet the conditions of the above criteria must submit a list of at least 25,000 supporting voters to the CEC within 60 days of receiving a sample list, but no later than August 1.

Respuestas Presidental candidates: In order to nominate a candidate for President of Georgia, not less than 30 members of the Election Panel shall, after the membership of the Election Panel is approved but not later than the 30 days before the Election Day, file an application to the CEC.
Parliamentary elections: Under the new fully proportional system, independent candidates cannot stand for the parliamentary elections, contrary to OSCE commitments. To participate in the elections, parties must first register with the CEC. Parties that have an MP at the
time of calling elections have to submit their application no later than 57 days before election day.

Respuestas A party’s property may be made up of:
a) membership fees;
b) donations by natural persons and legal entities;
c) state funds when so prescribed by law;
d) income received from producing and distribution of the party symbols, holding lectures and exhibitions and other similar events as well as publications and other activity as determined by the party’s statute, provided that such income does not change the notfor-profit status of the party.
e) Donations received as a result of public events.
