Comments:
According to the Canada Elections Act, the Chief Electoral Officer of Canada has the mandate to implement public education and information programs. The media, political parties, non-governmental organizations and missions abroad also contribute to the voter information campaigns during federal elections, however, this is not regulated by the Act. Elections Canada has information available to voters on its website in both English and French.
