Television debates

PreguntaAre televised debates between candidates or party representatives normally conducted?
Respuestas b. Yes, in legislative elections
Respuestas The media also helped to stimulate the ‘national conversation’ in the preelection period. Fiji Television organised a national debate between several of the party leaders. A number of the radio stations staged discussion and ‘talkback’ programmes. The print media, although critical of its own record in analysis and investigative reporting, in our view did well as a forum for national debate.
