Mandatory referendums (national level)

Réponses The Acts to amend the Constitution shall be considered adopted if voted for by at least two-third of the established deputies of Mejlis, or in case of a national referendum, if supported by more than half of the participating citizens of Turkmenistan. Decisions adopted by referendums may be repealed or amended only through referendum. The question for removal of President of Turkmenistan from the office is put on national referendum.
