What kind of electoral sample materials are stored on this virtual library?

A wide variety of electoral materials from different countries, such as electoral laws and regulations, ballot papers, voting manuals and guidebooks, posters, reports and technical assessements, policy papers, and many more.

How to search for specific electoral materials?

To narrow the search of a given resource material, users have four alternative options:

• by keyword;
• by region or country;
• by topic area; or
• by document type.

Can users contribute by submitting relavant electoral sample materials for inclusion in the database?

Users willing to help us in populating the database are invited to submit relevant sample materials to the nearest Regional Electoral Resource Centre (see Regions & Countries) either electronically if scanned or by post to the address on the RERC webpage.

What if there are no sample materials for a given country? 

The database is being established through a gradual process. If a sample material cannot be found, it  means that either has not been collected or not yet uploaded on to the database.
