  • May 08, 2011: EU Election Observation Mission to Chad The European Union will send electoral observers to monitor the elections planned for 2011 in Chad. The National Assembly elections (originally due on 28 Nov 2010, 2009 and 2006) will be held on February 20, 2011, local elections (due on 12 Dec 2010) will be on March 27, 2011 and finally the presidential elections (postponed from 23 Apr 2011) will be on May 8, 2011.
