  • Oct 18, 2010: Tanzania:Training for SADC Election Observers, EISA (2010) EISA in partnership with GTZ, is holding the training for SADC election observers for Tanzania and Zanzibar.
  • Jul 23, 2008: The role and challenges of Civil Society Engagement in the Post - Election Dispute Resolution (EISA) The conference aimed to discuss the increasingly worrying problem of post-election disputes and how civil society can play a role in their resolution.

    It was hoped that the conference will come up with recommendations regarding the following:

    • Appropriate roles and opportunities for civil society engagement in the resolution of post-election disputes
    • Appropriate mechanisms for civil society engagement in the resolution of post-election disputes;
    • A recognition by both continental and regional organizations of the roles that civil society can play in post-election disputes resolution and the creation of the necessary and appropriate frameworks for such engagements across the continent.
