On November 9th, 2008 will take place the election for municipal authorities. However, according with declarations made by the national electoral management body, the Supreme Electoral Council (CSE), due to the havoc in the North Atlantic Autonomous Region (RAAN), the elections in eight municiples will be postponed until January 2009.
