Public funding of parties


Question:Do political parties receive direct/indirect public funding?

Comments: Registered political parties are entitled to public funding from the state budget. In addition, party lists that received at least twenty percent (20%) of the votes cast may obtain a refund of twenty-five percent (25%) of their campaign expenditure.
