Sinisa BencunAfter completing engagement with International Fondation for Electoral Systems (IFES) in 2001, I joined prominent Bosnian NGO Centres for Civic Initiatives (CCI). In 2002, I was coordinating CCI's domestic election monitoring network named OKO, for municipalities of North-East Bosnia. From 2007. I was appointed for project manager and since that time till today I was successfully managing 5 different long-term EU funded projects, dominantly related to local governance, increasing of citizen participation in decision-making process, accountability of local authorities in terms of increasing the quality of life of citizens at local level, monitoring the election campaign promises, and adoption of various public policies important for EU accession process at all levels of governance. From 2007. I participated at different international election observation missions, from STO to Core Team member and election observation trainer, in more than 10 international election observation missions within ENEMO and ODIHR. Currently I am obtaining election expert position as Capacity Building Officer for domestic CSO network "Pod Lupom" in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 2000, I am an active member of Association of election officials of BiH (AEOBIH). Besides formal education, where I obtained master degree in international relations at Faculty of political science in Belgrade (currently PhD Candidate), I am certified AEOBiH/IFES elections trainer, and certified EOQ project manager. I am married and father of two. |
