Julie Broadbent

I am currently working as the Senior Programme Officer for Democratisation with Interpeace supporting the Somaliland Election Commission and the Transitional Puntland Election Commission. I have seven years experience with the Commonwealth Secretariat in Political Affairs supporting Election Management Bodies and facilitating Observation Missions. Prior to my work with the Commonwealth Secretariat I worked with the National Electoral Commission in Sierra Leone as they prepared for their 2004 Local Government Elections. I have two years experience in Kosovo working on election and democratisation projects and have six years UK Election experience acting as an independent returning officer for many professional bodies such as trade unions, pension funds, companys etc.
